Bertram Rollmann, owner and general manager of Bulgarian clothing maker Pirin Tex, holds some inconventional ideas. When many people think that in terms of employment the Bulgarian apparel industry is past its peak, Rollmann claims the industry urgently needs 25,000 - 30,000 more workers.
He does not share the general belief that the apparel distribution sector is very competetive, but the margins are inevitably low. On the contrary, Rollmann says the distribution margins are too high.
