BAATPE met Bulgarian companies with TESCO UK

On April 26 BAATPE organized a work shop between Bulgarian companies - manufacturers and the representatives of the British fashion chain - TESCO.

The representatives of TESCO UK for Balkans region were from the Turkish company's office and they visited Bulgaria for the first time. Their main goal was to get acquainted with the internal market, to contact Bulgarian companies and build its own network of suppliers. TESCO has worked so far in Bulgaria through brokers and agents.

On the workshop in Sofia participated 16 companies - members of BAATPE from different regions of the country. After presenting the TESCO UK and the basics of company policy, all Bulgarian companies had the opportunity to conduct individual business meetings to present their production and to explore opportunities for cooperation.

The 7-days program of the Turkish representatives continued with visits to the shortlisted companies all over the country.

BAATPE will provide more information after receiving the report of TESCO UK with the results of their tour in Bulgaria.
