Bulgarian textile company Decotex will vote on a proposal to distribute 0.20 Bulgarian levs ($0.124/0.102 euro) per share as dividend for 2005 at the general meeting of shareholders on May 31, 2006. The company intends to use 1.683 mln levs ($1.042 mln/861,000 euro) from its net profit for 2005 and 12.9 mln levs ($7.99 mln/6.59 mln euro) from reserves to raise its capital to 15 mln levs ($9.29 mln/7.67 mln euro). Decotex posted a net profit of 1.766 mln levs ($1.094 mln/903,000 euro) in 2005, which is up by 15.5 pct compared to 2004, shows the preliminary financial statement of the company.

Decotex is one of the biggest carpet producers in Europe. The majority owner, Kappa Technology, holds 91.937 pct of the company. The remainder is free float.
