As previously were informed, BAATPE objected to the participation conditions and criteria for evaluation of the companies in the procedure “Technological modernization in SME’s”, part of OP “Competitiveness”. Common opinion from three branch organizations was expressed twice by submitted opinion in July and December 2010 (Entr. Number 47-02-11-34/28.07.2010 and Entr. Number 92-00-1733/22.12.2010 )
At January, 14 a meeting was held with Mrs. Greta Dobreva, Director “European Funds for Competitiveness”, MEET and representatives of the organizations, namely : Mrs Valeria Jekova, Chairman of the Board of BAATPE, Mrs Mariana Manolova, CEO BAATPE, Mr. Ivan Kolev, President of the Association of the leather, fur, footwear and haberdashery, and Mr. Kalin Simeonov, Chairman of the Branch Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry.
As a result, we received an official statement from the ministry, which once again does not meet the demands of the companies from the concerned branches.
As a consequence, on January 28, 2011 on behalf of 5 companies from the three branches was filed by lawyer an official appeal to the Supreme Court.
Actually, BAATPE prepare official information about the case which will be sent to EURATEX and the European Commission.
